French Administrative Law as a Paradigm: Some Remarks Concerning its Use by the Supreme Court of Israel

There is, undoubtedly, a myth surrounding French administrative law. As a French humorist once said, "France's most original contributions to international culture seem to be perfumes, champagne and droit administratif." It seems that French administrative law is paradigmatically different from most of its foreign counterparts. This is, of course, particularly so with respect to English law.
